Queen City Model Yacht Club
Founded in 2015, Queen City Model Yacht Club is a group of mostly friendly sailors that sail radio controlled (RC) sailboats. We are chartered under the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA), club number 342. We offer racing in 2 AMYA recognized classes, the Kyosho Seawind and DragonFlite 95 but any RC sailboat is welcome. We sail most Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:30 to 12:30 weather permitting. We sail at Pineville Lake Park located near the Bell Johnston Community Center, 1000 Johnston Dr, Pineville, NC.
Sandusky Sailing Club
Pure One Design Energy on Lake Erie
Sandusky Sailing Club is where serious racing meets laid-back lake life. Sitting on Sandusky Bay, SSC is home to some of the most active One Design fleets on Lake Erie — Interlake, Thistle, Laser, and DF95 — plus a growing Junior Race Team that keeps the next generation on the water.
From weeknight racing to national championships, SSC is built on teamwork, competition, and good times on and off the dock. Whether you’re trimming sails, running races, or just catching the sunset with friends, this is where sailing stays fun, fast, and fresh.
